Theodore Dobson in his book, “Inner Healing: God’s Great Assurance” makes this statement about the pain that inner healing tries to address:-
“The burden of pain that all of us carry drains our energy from creative and productive activity and makes us feel unworthy, guilty, hopeless, broken and unforgivable.”In other words, we are disabled from being fruitful.
Gen. 1:28 “And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth”
“The purpose and goal of inner healing is emotionally healthy persons, people who are released from the emotional and psychological bondages that past experiences have produced.”
